Mrs. Bo came to us with many missing teeth, and the remaining teeth were very loose due to periodontitis, with almost no chewing function and no indication for preservation. After examination and assessment on a cone beam CT scan, we extracted the remaining teeth, placed 4 implants in each of the upper and lower jaws and fitted cover screws while waiting for osseointegration. This plan creates a solid foundation for a fixed restoration, restoring chewing function and improving the patient's quality of life.
